Schools know which students are absent.
Understanding why students may be disengaged is often much harder.
While schools have attendance data, there is often a gap between knowing who is absent and understanding the student experiences, interests, and engagement factors that may be influencing attendance patterns.
NxLevel Growth was founded to help schools close that gap.
For some students, stronger attendance may begin with a better understanding of their engagement and motivation.

Josephine Douglas-Paige
Founder & CEO
Josephine Douglas-Paige is an entrepreneur, business strategist, and lifelong problem-solver whose career has spanned financial services, insurance, operations, organizational improvement, and productivity consulting. For more than four decades, she has helped individuals and organizations improve how they work, make decisions, and turn complex challenges into practical solutions.
She holds an MBA in Marketing and an MS in Entrepreneurship from Syracuse University’s Whitman School of Management. Based in Jersey City, Josephine is also a proud mother and grandmother. Her professional experience, entrepreneurial perspective, and personal commitment to expanding opportunities for young people inspired her to create NxLevel Growth and Attendance Advantage™.

Attendance Advantage™ is beginning with student engagement and motivation, but the long-term vision is broader.
NxLevel Growth intends to expand the platform by developing additional assessments, tools, and services designed to help schools explore the other drivers of chronic absenteeism.
Over time, this expansion will give schools a more complete framework for examining the different factors that may be affecting each student’s attendance and determining where further assessment or support may be appropriate.
